About

Based in San Jose, California, I am an interdisciplinary artist with more than 15 years of experience working across a wide range of mediums. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from San José State University in 2017, and my practice has continued to evolve over the course of my life. Outside the studio, I explore creativity through clown-inspired makeup and character-based cosplay, which often inform the imaginative spirit of my work.

My art is rooted in joy—both in the act of making and in the experience of viewing. Whether highly conceptual or delightfully whimsical, each piece reflects my belief that a bit of playfulness is essential in our everyday lives.

While embroidery is my primary medium, I frequently integrate painting, appliqué, and three-dimensional elements to create richly layered, textural works. I am also drawn to kinetic and functional forms of art, developing pieces that invite interaction and stand apart through their inventive designs. Every work is uniquely crafted; I rarely repeat a design, and even my limited repeatable pieces are distinguished by individual variations. This ensures that each collector receives something truly singular.

Ultimately, my goal is to share this sense of joy and individuality by bringing more of my artwork into homes around the world.
